Sheepdrove Organic Farm is located within the Berkshire border and is surrounded by beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see. Set in 2500 acres, this is a venue with stunning photo opportunities in abundance! With onsite accommodation now included, the venue itself has been beautifully and thoughtfully created. It provides a space which is not only welcoming, but is supportive of it’s surrounding environment. Therefore unsurprisingly it has a seriously impressive environmental approach with many green features as an integral part of it’s offering. It even has its own bore hole providing bottled water!

Attending a viewing you learn so much about the venue, it’s surroundings, as well as seeing for yourself the wonders it has to offer. A Physic garden, the impressive naturally lit Oak Room, the lake and boathouse (a must see!). Besides that, catering facilities, authentic pizza oven, indoor and outdoor ceremony options, beautiful sculptures, and the romantic amphi theatre setting.  Most importantly of course we shouldn’t forget the stunning countryside setting itself. There really is something for the senses around each corner!

Meet Sheepdrove…

1. Tell us about the stunning venue Sheepdrove Organic Farm

Our venue is based on a 2500 acre working organic farm in the West Berkshire downs, overlooking vast organic meadows and offering an array of outside space, alongside inside space. All wedding couples have two-day exclusive use of our venue, ensuring their special day is truly there’s. We offer eco-friendly, sustainable accommodation, as well as a secluded, romantic lake side property.

Our venue is fully licenced in two rooms to hold civil ceremonies, or alternatively, couples can simply hold their wedding reception with us. We offer a fully bespoke approach to each individual couple’s special day. Our team mimics the offerings of our venue – versatile, flexible, unique and a blank canvas to help sculpt and create the perfect day.

2. Tell us something that not many people know about Sheepdrove

Sheepdorve Organic Farm is owned by passionate environmental campaigners, hence why the building meets exceptionally high environmental standards and consists of many ‘Green features’. This includes solar panel heating as well as being built with locally sourced, renewable, recycled materials and an onsite reedbed water treatment system, meaning all waste water from Sheepdrove Organic Farm is cleansed through a lengthy process and then reused as recycled water within the venue.

3. What advice would you give to couples who are looking for their wedding venue?

Take as much support as you can from the venue. Planning a wedding can be very stressful, so supportive, flexible staff are key to help make your day as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
